Network Protection Project or a Security Project is a singular entity which defines how a LANProtector Server will behave: what to protect and how. Each LANProtector Server can have a single Security Project associated to define its behavior.

In order to create new or edit and manage existing Security Projects, LANProtector Manager must be used. The same as the LANProtector Server, Manager too can only have one loaded Security Project at one time. However Manager doesn’t use the Project to define its behavior but only to display the Project’s structure and contents and to provide interface for Project editing.

Security Project is defined by its Name and additional properties, and consists of a single or more Rulesets.
