Network Adapter is as the name says a system network interface adapter – i.e. a LAN network adapter, a Wi-Fi adapter, etc. It is represented by its system Name, the first assigned IPv4 address and IPv4 netmask address.

Although a network adapter can have multiple addresses assigned, only the first one will be used in representing the adapter in LANProtector Manager interface. However LANProtector Server will listen to all the traffic on that network adapter and will properly protect the network independently from the number of assigned IPv4 addresses.
