AxiomCoders LANProtector is a powerful Local Area Network (LAN) protection tool / network access control tool. It can be used by anyone with basic computer network knowledge to fully control the access to any number of LANs from unauthorized intruders. LANProtector can also be used to ensure the proper LAN access configuration for all authorized computers and devices.

AxiomCoders LANProtector features include listing of all computers and devices on any number of accessible LANs and highly flexible rule-based access control configurable through an intuitive Graphical User Interface.

LANProtector can be used on any Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) protocol based computer network, such as the most of the world computer networks today, no matter the hardware layer: wired switched network, Wi-Fi or other wireless type network, etc. It is a software solution and can be hosted on any computer running a Microsoft Windows Operating System*.

Advantage of LANProtector over the dedicated hardware network access control (i.e. manageable switches or access control enabled wired and wireless routers and access points) is that it is a much more affordable software solution and can be hosted on any computer* in the network without the need for an expensive or dedicated network server or other type of hardware.
