Single Host Rule matches a single IPv4 address: Common Rule Properties All Rule
types have a set of common properties: Name represents descriptive Rule name which usually describes
what the Rule purpose. It cannot be empty and is limited to 100 characters. State
can be one of the three possible values: Allow, Deny or Inactive.
Inactive Rules will simply be ignored when testing a network peer against the
Rules in a Ruleset. Allow and Deny states specify which action will be taken against
network peers that match that Rule. Associate
MAC Address controls if the Rule is bound to a specific MAC address in
addition to its base IPv4 address bound condition. Allowed MAC Address means that in
order for network peer to be matched with the Rule, it needs to have exactly
the same MAC Address as specified here. Unallowed MAC Address means that a network peer
can be matched with the Rule only if it doesn’t have the MAC Address specified
here. Reply
MAC Address is an advanced common Rule property and shouldn’t be modified
unless additional control is needed over how the LANProtector Server will
enforce protection. It specifies the reply ARP package address used as the
source / originating MAC Address when performing the legitimate ARP spoofing to
block the network access for denied network peers. Please see Rule
description for more details. Single Host Rule Properties IP
Address is a single IPv4 address which must be matched by the network peer.
