Editing a Rule is almost identical to creating a new Rule. To edit a Rule, use the Edit Rule Toolbar command above the Rules list on the Main Window or Enter keyboard key when Rules list is focused or use the Rules list context menu Edit Rule command.

When a new Rule is being created, the Rule GUI dialog is setup based on the Rule type and has default values loaded. When editing an existing Rule, the Rule GUI dialog is setup based on the Rule type and has the existing Rule’s property values loaded. Dialog is slightly different depending on the Rule type:

1.     Host Rule

2.     Range Rule

3.     Subnet Rule

4.     Mask Rule
