Cloning a Rule is almost identical to editing a Rule, the only difference being that editing Rule will update an existing Rule and cloning Rule will create a new Rule based on the original Rule’s properties. Cloning a Rule can be considered as making a copy of an existing Rule.

To clone a Rule, use the Clone Rule Toolbar command above the Rules list on the Main Window or Insert keyboard key when Rules list is focused or use the Rules list context menu Clone Rule command. Resulting dialog will differ depending on the Rule type:

1.     Host Rule

2.     Range Rule

3.     Subnet Rule

4.     Mask Rule
