In order to associate (add) a Network Adapter with a Ruleset, use the Add button under the Associated Network Adapters list on the Main Window or Insert keyboard key when Network Adapters list is focused or use the Network Adapters list context menu Add command.

The list of available Network Adapters is retrieved directly from the currently connected LANProtector Server. It is not possible to add a Network Adapter without being connected to a LANProtector Server first.

Each row represents one Network Adapter retrieved from the currently connected LANProtector Server. Each column describes the Network Adapter:

            Adapter Name = operating system registered name of the Server-side Network Adapter
            IP Address = the first assigned IPv4 address of the Network Adapter; if there is no static IPv4 address assigned, this field will show “0.0.0.0”; if the IP Address field is empty, it means that the Network Adapter is disabled or turned off
            Netmask = the first assigned IPv4 netmask of the Network Adapter in pair with the IP Address

To select a Network Adapter from the list of Server-side Network Adapters and add it to the current Ruleset Associated Network Adapters list, simply select a Network Adapter in the offered list and click OK button or just double-click the Adapter in the list.
