LANProtector Troubleshooting, Unable to Connect to Server
Issue: I’m unable to connect to LANProtector Server over the network
Potential Cause:
LANProtector Server is installed on a computer which is behind a firewall or a router.
Solution:
If LANProtector Server is installed on a computer behind a router which needs to have port forwarding configured, access the router configuration and make sure to turn on TCP port 52983 forwarding to the computer hosting LANProtector Server. Please consult your router manual on how to achieve this.
If LANProtector Server is behind a hardware or software firewall, it is necessary to enable inbound connections to TCP port 52983 and outbound TCP connections.
In case of Windows Firewall, please make sure to leave the Add an Exception to the Windows Firewall option checked during LANProtector Server install:

As an alternative to the above automated Setup configuration of Windows Firewall, try running OpenLANProtectorServerPort.vbs script on the computer where LANProtector Server is installed.
Potential Cause:
LANProtector Server Windows service has terminated due to an error or system malfunction.
Solution:
1.Accessing Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services or running services.msc using Start | Run on the computer where LANProtector Server was installed
2.Locating AxiomCoders LANProtector Server service in the list, selecting it and clicking the Run button:
3.If all went well, the LANProtector Server service will startup successfully after several seconds:If the LANProtector Server service won’t start, please reinstall the LANProtector Server and try again.
